Top Recommended Physical Therapist in SPRING
Megan received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2018. Megan chose a path of physical therapy following a career as a soccer player, participating in youth, club, and high school soccer. She was born and raised in College Station, Texas, and never questioned where she would pursue her growing passion for sports medicine. Megan received her Bachelor of Sciences in Kinesiology Motor Behavior from Texas A&M University in 2015. Whoop!
Upon completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Megan’s passion for sports and desire to advance her skills as a movement specialist led her to post-professional residency and fellowship training. She completed an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency with a sports manual therapy emphasis through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration in 2019. She went on to complete her sports and orthopedic fellowship with the Institute of Athlete Regeneration and in 2023 was recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapist (FAAOMPT). She is also certified in Sports & Orthopedic Regenerative Dry Needling.
Megan is passionate about the expanding role of physical therapy and movement in injury prevention and life-long athletic performance. She created Tactic Recovery after working in traditional orthopedic and sports clinics, feeling the frustration of productivity numbers and insurance companies dictating care and patient recovery. Outside of Tactic Recovery operations, you can find her in the CrossFit Box, exploring walking trails, trying new recipes, cheering on the USWNT, and spending time with family and friends at the ranch.
